SOAP DOCTOR was established in February 2006 by myself (Steve) with help from my wife (Jane) following a weekend break to Barcelona.

Having bought Olive Oil soap on holiday, we found that upon returning home, with use this very quickly went very soft, stringy, and did not foam well at all. As a Chemist with 20 years experience making products for companies such as Body Shop, Sanctuary, Gillette, Urban Retreat (Harrods Spa shop) and Simple (Accantia) to name but a few, my wife challenged me to make a better soap........and so SOAP DOCTOR was born.

Unlike major companies, I set about developing the best soaps that would be suitable for people with dry, sensitive or delicate skin - using no detergents, preservatives or petrochemicals.

We have since expanded our range of products to include other prestige natural based toiletries. We currently sell our products through this website, wholesale, occasionally on EBay, and in local Farmers Markets (see photos).
